Born in suburban New York, Jeff Kalmbach began his obsession with music in 1992 upon his discovery of the music of Queen. Shortly thereafter Jeff began studying guitar and quickly became one of the most notable guitarists in the area. In 1998 Jeff moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. In 2003 Jeff came to the bay area of California where he has shared stages with artists like George Lynch, Eddie Money, Bo Bice, Pat Travers, Gilby Clarke, English Beat and The Joe Perry Project and performed at venues like Bill Graham Civic Center, The Fillmore Auditorium, Levi’s Stadium, Regency Ballroom, and City National Civic Auditorium. 2013 saw the release of his debut instrumental EP entitled This is Not Here. Jeff currently does 150 shows a year with national touring band The Spazmatics who has played for clients such as Salesforce, Facebook, Apple, Twitter, and Pixar. When not performing Jeff is a sought after guitar instructor at his home studio in Alameda, CA and the Music Co-Op in Walnut Creek, CA.
