Bio

7Born in suburban New York, Jeff Kalmbach began his obsession with music in 1992 upon his discovery of the band Queen. Shortly thereafter Jeff began studying guitar and quickly became one of the most notable guitarist in the area. In 1998 Jeff moved to Boston where he attended Berklee College of Music and earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. In 2003 Jeff came to the San Francisco bay area of California where he has had tenures in bands like The Aphrodisiacs, RubberSideDown, and the well known tribute shows Stung and Riot Act.  Most recently he finished his debut instrumental solo EP entitled “THIS IS NOT HERE”. By mixing his signature hard rock riffs with the harmonic considerations of jazz and R&B Jeff created what he considers to be his crowning achievement. Jeff has shared stages with some of the biggest names in rock including George Lynch, Eddie Money, Bo Bice, Pat Travers, Gilby Clarke, English Beat and The Joe Perry Project He has also performed live at the world famous venues The  Fillmore, and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. Jeff currently performs approximately one hundred fifty shows a year with nationally successful touring show band The Spazmatics. When not performing Jeff is a sought after guitar instructor at Red House Studios and Guitar Center Studios in Northern California.
